Alcohol

Hi!!!
i'm leaving on 3/21 to go on the 4 night cruise. Can anyone tell me if you are allowed to bring beer on board or can you put it in your luggage??

I spoke to a DCL castmember in February. She said it is OK to bring wine, liquor, etc. on board in your carry on luggage. She said not to put it in your checked baggage.


After cruising on other cruise lines that don't let you bring alcohol, this was a pleasant surprise. You won't believe what some people have done to get alcohol on board on other lines. One guy put rum in mouthwash bottles and food colored it to look real. Another put it in a contact lens saline bottle (I hope she didn't accidentally mix up the real saline with the fake or it would bring new meaning to the phrase "here's mud in your eye!").
