Alcohol purchased offsite

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, I really didn't know where to ask. I placed an order for grocery delivery to The Polynesian for our trip, and ordered bottled beer for DH. I absolutely know that we can't bring beer to the parks, or onto the bus or monorail, but I'm wondering if he is able to walk around the resort with it, or even lounge at the pools or beach area with beer brought from the room? I'm not trying to break any rules, or "sneak around", I'm wondering if this is allowed. THANK YOU!

We brought alcohol around the resort with no issue. The only thing that may be a problem is the glass bottles. I don't believe they are allowed by the pool, and I'm not sure about common areas. We used cans.

We sometimes bring a little soft cooler with a few cans of beer to the pool. Sometimes get a beer and walk around the Boardwalk with it. No problem, just no alcohol brought into or out of a park (I learned that years ago, when I was leaving Epcot with a beer through International Gateway. Had to chug my beer, LOL).

I have never had a problem bringing my transparent plastic cup of beer or margarita on the monorail or ferry.

Pack a few Solo cups so he can pour the beer out of the bottle and walk around with it.

Use your resort mug from the dining plan if you have one.

We always wander about with booze we get from GG . Cans only. We also use plastic cups we bring. Made our own mixers from rapid refill last year during Yehaa Bob with our mugs.

We had to chug a grey goose slushee. Brain freeze. OTOH, been able to get into MK with wine concealed in to go cups.

Edited for the pool, will use provided cups or we bring our own yeti or hydroflask.

We always get plastic cups from the grocery store or use the plastic wine glasses we get from the Wine Walk at Epcot. We have never had any issues with walking around a resort with alcohol.
