I am considering the quick service dining plan for a trip we plan to take Dec 2025. I have been watching some videos trying to learn all I can. In some videos customers are being told that not all offered drinks are included with the dining plan. I have seen this to be the case in several of the lounges when ordering using a table service credit, but haven't seen any info as yet on what in included at a quick service. I haven't seen one "rule" or comprehensive list for what alcoholic beverages are allowed on the plan versus not. Can anyone she some light? Will we be able to order the specialty cocktails that many of the quick service restaurants offer?
I can tell you my experience using credits at QS locations, not that I have done a lot. But it seems if the QS location has cocktails in addition to wine and beer, you are able to get it with your credit. And most of the QS locations at the resorts have a few canned cocktails/drinks in addition to the individual glasses of wine or bottles of beer in the coolers. If you use the app to do a mobile order, it will let you know if the beverage you select is included in your meal credit or not.
HS:
Woody's Lunch Box - I was able to get the Grown-up Lemonade with the BBQ Brisket Melt
Backlot Express - I had the Rum Island Breeze with the Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork burger
Animal Kingdom:
Pizzafari - I had an Island Breeze with my pizza Note: The version of the alcoholic drink with the glow cube is NOT included (at least when you are using mobile order and dining credits. Maybe different if you are ordering at the register??)
Paddock Grill at SSR - We had our mugs with us, so my brother was able to get 2 unopened bottles of beer with his chicken sandwich meals and I had a strawberry margarita with my burger.
Beaches Pool Bar at GF - This one is a little different. If you order from the FOOD WINDOW, you can only get the typical canned/bottled alcoholic drinks. But if you place your food order AT THE BAR, you can get whatever you want, meaning smoothies for the kids and yummy frozen cocktails for the adults (I love Pina Colavas, and the Lava Smoothie if going NA). Bonus - they serve potato barrels with the sandwiches vs fries or chips! My SIL liked the shrimp sliders here.
Oasis Pool Bar & Grill at the Poly - This is similar to Beaches pool, but I have never seen the food window open here. I have always ordered from the bar, and I do enjoy a Voyager with my burger
Sorry, I tend to go to the same places each visit, and I usually only get the dining plan for the first day of my stay so I have the mug the whole week. One of the benefits of multiple DVC contracts.
