Yes this, the Walgreens is basically across the street from the Portifino and it has a great L store to the side of it, has everything basically you need in that department. I know I'm a professional drinker.

Good to know Walgreens it is. Sounds like a nice midday walk!
I think you and I could be friends. I am thinking, staying onsite, and not worrying about driving for 8 days, plus 2 teens, plus spring break crowds. Well, not hard to do the math
I'm used to it as I grew up there (though I left before I was of drinking age), but hubby grew up in WA, and every time we go to California he nearly freaks out when he gets to the liquor section at a grocery store...thinks someone has made a huge mistake!

On a similar note, I had never seen a beer-only store until travelling into Manitoba, Canada. If you want beer, you don't go to either the grocery store or the liquor store, you go to the beer store.
Don't forget to stop at Orlando Ale House (part of the Millers Ale House chain) next door to Walgreens. $5 pitchers of beer (and other cheap drink deals) and kids eat free on Tuesdays. Decent pub food.
