My family (dh, me, dd16, ds16, ds10), are planning a trip out west in August for 2 weeks. Originally, we were going to go to San Diego, Grand Canyon and then Vegas. I am not a huge California fan and everything including hotels there are super expensive, so I am switching the trip to Albuquerque, Petrified Forest, meteorer crater, Sedona, grand canyon, Vegas. I got dirt cheap flights to Albuquerque from NY and since we live 20 min from NYC, a lot of the stuff we were going to do in CA, we can do in NY and FL when we visit. This trip was supposed to be a trip "out West". Anyone have any suggestions of things to see in Albuquerque or AZ? Hope the kids don't get bored. Lol
