Hi everybody,

I am looking for a guest book for my wedding, but I am having SERIOUS issues .

At first I thought of getting a 8x8 Scrapbook so that I can also glue pictures and embellishments, but then the page protectors issue came up as I don't want our guests to have to take the pages out of the protectors every time somebody wants to sign it!

I then thought of the Creative Memories albums (that I have never seen); I was told that the pages just "hook" in the album and that the protectors can easily be put on after. Is it true? And is there other types of albums that work on the same "principle"? My fiance would like a charcoal album, and I don't think CM has those...

Does anybody have any idea? I am DESPERATE .

What about a spiral bound book, I'm not a fan of the strap hinge, I've seen so many break after years even the CM onese.
Joann's and Micheals both carry spiral bound ones.

Not a scrapbook, but an idea...

I wanted to do this when I got married, but people looked at me like I was weird. Now I've seen other weddings where it's been done, and people comment on what a neat idea it is. Go figure. Wish I would've went ahead and done it.

I'd love to see my "guest book" displayed instead of sitting in a box for all these years. I wanted to get some photo frame mats and set them out for people to sign, then use them to frame wedding pictures and display them in my home.

This is how we did our first one day trip to MK. Our daughter collected character autographs on a matboard. It now hangs in her room with a cute pic of her with Alice (from Wonderland) in it. Everyone who has seen it has lots of compliments on it. I carried it in a Ziploc sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard. When it was filled, we put it in our locker.

If it's a scrapbook you want, though, I'd go with the Creative Memories too.

You could always get the CM picfolio one which has pockets and leave out a set of journalling boxes for people to write messages, then arrange them later in a way which suits you.

Thanks for all your suggestions! I'm going to have to try a CM album now!

MazdaUK, I think that's a great idea, but I just wanted to warn you that the Journaling boxes don't fit in all the pockets of the picFolio. I tried it yesterday when I was trying to convince my fiance to do that idea, and I'd have to trim some of them so that they could fit everywhere. Not a big deal, but I would rather do it before than having to potentially cut into somebody's signature!
