You are there, how is it, getting better? Worse? We arrive tomorrow... hoping those winds will die down today... Thanks!

Wind seems to have died down a little, but the sky has turned pretty cloudy and its all yellow, like its sunset or sunrise...

I walked out there yesterday and it made my nose stuffy and and feel very uncomfortable...

Well I'm not Albort but I can tell you about the fires.

Wind Advisory is expected to end at 3pm today. Its still windy but not as bad as the past couple of days. All airports are open and flights have not been cancelled or anything...maybe delayed but nothing drastic. Because of the wind, approach and takeoff are the opposite directions (not sure about LAX). I'm located 20 minutes from Disneyland and protected by the foothills. We have no wind but its very smokey. My kids go to school down in Anaheim and its pretty windy (but not as bad as other days) and extremely smokey, some ash and expected to get a little worse and the fires die down. It smells like a big bon fire.

Your flight won't be affected but expect lots and lots and lots of traffic beyond the norm. Many trucks are off by a day or two and are making them up these next few days. As far as the park goes, expect the air to feel a little heavier than normal. They advised people to stay indoors as much as they could and avoid being outside unless absolutely necessary. Most of the fires are not under control. The one closest to Disneyland which is the Santiago Fire is 30% contained by they haven't made any progress on it. So if you can stand the air, then you should be fine but realize, this is NOT the best conditions to come out this way.

Thanks both of you! We'll be on Claritan (which seems to help for most everything nose related) and have saline spray for our noses too... so I am hoping that will help... I do not have high hopes for tomorrow... but I am hoping that Th-Sat will be good... With a 3 year old that has been wanting to go to DL for almost 3 months now, there is no way I can cancel, it would crush her...

We'll make the best of it, just want to be prepared...
