We are trying to go to DL in December and want to avoid the CM parties and the candle light pro.

I'm thinking they will be on these dates:
Candle light--Weekend of Nov 29th
CM Parties--sometime the 1st-5th

Does this seem right? I think we are going to go the following week. If I call Disney can they tell me when these things are planned?

I need to ask for my days off soon!

Not Albort, but just looking historically, I believe the dates for the CP will be:

Dec 6 and 7.

I have never seen them place the CP in Nov. It is normally the first weekend of Dec.

The only question will then be when they will place the CM parties, the Mon and Tues before or after the CP??

I'm pretty sure DLR will not be able to give out this information currently. They traditionally are pretty late in setting the dates and advertising them to the public. I would think we would know in Sept. at the earliest.

I wouldn't mind the CP since we arrive on Sunday (the last day of the CP) I just want to avoid the CM parties. We were there during them last year and I don't want to leave the park at 6pm

I'm in the same situation. I reserved HoJos for Dec 3-7 and I'm worried about CM parties too.

Those dates should be ok with the CM parties, I think they were on Mon and Tue last year if I remember correctly. You might have a problem with the CP though...

I just called DL and of course they don't know the dates but she thought we would be safe if we went the 7th through the 12th...
