And the latest is...they don't know!
Alberto has been giving them fits, as you would expect with a storm like this -- early season, poorly organized, weak, lots of shear. Tough one to figure. Best guess right now seems to be that Alberto will be right on the borderline between a Tropical Storm and a minimal Cat 1 Hurricane.
Landfall is now projected for tonight well north of Tampa. The landfall point is estimated to be in the area of Steinhatchee, but it's important to remember that the bad weather and storm effects will occur across hundreds of miles, and storm conditions will occur hours before the exact landfall.
The storm is increasing in forward speed, and the more it increases its pace, the less it will affect WDW.
