Do they do brunch on Tracy Arm day? What is a good time? What time do they usually get to the glacier?

Yes they do, we booked 10 am, we saw whales up to the entrance, if you want to be at the start of the glacier book, later say 11.30, they do not start to enter until 1 pm. If you have an inside room, note people stake areas out early so having brunch you will not see the end of the glacier as it gets there around 2.30, and you will find good viewing gone. If you have a verandah there is no issue.

I vote to book the latest... then again it may be too close to the Salmon BBQ.

I don't think I saw Sawyer until 2 or 3pm.

Hot chocolate is available all the time at the machines. I want to say the lunch was around 11 or 11:30.

We did the brunch on Tracy Arm day. It was great. They block off the area outside the windows so you have an unobstructed view. We booked the last seating and stayed for a little over 2 hours. It was beautiful (the plate and the view)

We had no problem getting a view of the glacier later as the crowds had moved on.

I'm torn as to whether to book Palo for Tracy Arm day or just do it on one of the other sea days. On the one hand, the scenery coupled with the amazing views would make it unforgettable. On the other hand, we have an inside room so no verandah and I want to make sure we get a good spot for the views.

We booked for about 11 on Tracey Arm day and it was perfect. We got to see the transition from the inside passage to where it starts getting more rocky and icy (it was early September, so not a lot of ice). And then after brunch we went up to deck 4. We are from Florida, so we didn't want to (couldn't) spend hours and hours on deck. Even in Sept it was too cold for our kids. But we still saw the glacier and took pics with the characters.
