I'm not sure that I'll even make it to Disneyland. The Walt Disney Studios are in Burbank.

Kinda stinks being that close and not going to DL, but that's what might happen.

We had a lazy day today....but yesterday was a long one.

We left the house at 4am. We drove 4 hours were I dropped DW & DS at Disneyland, then I drove back to Burbank to take a tour of the Walt Disney Studios.

We also got to meet Dave Smith, the founder of the Walt Disney archives.

Here he's holding the very first ticket to Disneyland that was sold to Walt's brother Roy.

After the tour I drove back to Disneyland, met a few DISers and road a few rides.

We made it back home around 12:30am.

Hope everyone else's weekends were just as eventful (but not as tiring).

Did you have fun....

I have been playing on line and figuring out what we will be doing and where we will be staying in whistler. We have decided after all the research and talking to so many people, that we should stay in whistler for as long as possible. So we will stay up there for 5 days and 2 in Vancouver. It looks awesome up there. Cant wait. We will most likely drive one way and take the train the other.

So far we are looking at going canoeing, mountain biking, AVT tour, Whitewater rafting, Gondola up than hiking, swimming at Lost lake, maybe also a Jeep tour, maybe skiing also, but will have to see how much the skiing is that time of year up at Black combs glacier. Will not be a cheep week but will be a fun one at that.

We can get a 2 bedroom suite/1231sq ft for as low total $300 a night at the Pan Pacific...it has great reviews.Or we may get the 3 bedroom that is just awesome for $600 a night. That will all depend on how much we want to spend and the cruise excursions.....although we will be using our Disney reward dollar points for all our DCL excursions. WE have so far $1000 in reward dollars so by the time the cruise is here we should have around $2000 in reward dollars which will be plenty for excursions and some for tips. Gotta love the DRD


We are hoping for a special to come up for stay 3 nights get the 2 and 3rd night free. I was told they have them all the time for the summer by PP concierge.

so anyone else heading up to Whistler for a few days or so?
