which airport do i fly into if I am going on the alaska cruise? I would be coming from new york, and is there a bus that takes you from the airport to the pier? and is it included in the price or is transportation to and from the pier extra..

thanks

YVR is the airport.

You could use DCL transfers to get you from the airport to the pier or there are some shuttles, I believe called skytran(?) that you can take. I know there is a shuttle of sorts, I'm just not certain that is the name of it.

Someone else will likely chime in with more info.....

There is a Vancouver FAQ thread you may want to check out on the cruise boards.....

You can take the Skytrain (Canada Line) to get to the Port.

You can view the different transportation options by going to the Port Metro Vancouver site at portmetrovancouver.com. Click on About the Port/Cruise & Tourism/Transportation & Parking. Sorry I am unable to post the link as I am new here.

You can buy FareSaver tickets at the 7-eleven or the Pharmasave at Level 1 Arrivals. You will need a two zone ticket which costs $3.75 one way to take you from the airport to Canada Place cruise terminal. This is cheaper than buying your ticket using the machines at the Skytrain terminal (which will cost you $5.00 more).
