Alaska Cruise- Is an ESTA required?

We are going on the Wonder next year to Alaska. We are flying from UK direct into Vancouver and flying out of Calgary direct to UK.

Will my mother need an ESTA as she doesn't have a current one. My daughter and I have current ones so can use those if needed.

I did a broader google search and found the answer!! YES we need ESTAS to arrive in Alaska via cruise.

Yes . We did a few years ago, and I haven't seen any changes that would invalidate that.
