Alaska cruise..do they ever offer

Guaranteed rooms..for cheaper prices? If so, when would I see those available?

Thanks
If a cruise isn't selling well, DCL may offer last minute restricted fares (*GT). If they do, it generally shows up after the Paid in Full date for any given cruise.

I doubt it happens often, but I'd look at ones in May/September as possibilities, when schools are in session.

On the 5 night Alaskan sailing (leaves August 2nd 2017) there are currently 'guaranteed' oceanview rooms available for significantly less than actually choosing the oceanview room you want.

Well, not really. The lower prices (GTY bookings) are on the 9D category. The other ocean view prices, while higher, would typically be higher anyway, since they are for higher categories.

Thank you for all of the replies. I will check 8/2/2017 and see the prices. We are a family of 6, so the Alaska cruise definitely is extremely costly.

With 6 people you'll need either two regular rooms, or a Concierge room.
