I was wondering if the staterooms had alarm clocks in them or whether I needed to bring one from home. Thanks.

in October, I used the wake up call that is easy to program through the phone, and in the morning you get a call from Mickey! I had read since then in other threads that they were starting to add clocks to some of the state rooms, but i am not sure if they are alarm clocks...

We're onboard, the stateroom clocks, while nice are NOT convenient. They are analog unlit clocks mounted in a wooden propeller. I don't know if they even have an alarm.

You have two choices,

a) Bring your own.

b) Set the alarm in the stateroom tv to go off on the 'music' channel which also has the ship's time running now.

I'd recommend A if you're not familiar with setting one on a tv. But it's not too hard.

The propeller clock definitely DOES have an alarm...we know because on the first morning of our last cruise, it woke us up at 6:45 a.m.! I guess the people in the stateroom before us figured that if they had to disembark, they would cause a little turmoil for the lucky devils who took over their stateroom. The clock is my hubby's avatar, so look to the left of the screen to see it.
