When you get close to your dates of travel, just go to orbitz and you will usually find cars for $12 per day out of MCO. I just checked 3 days for our trip starting August 25 (tho I actually need a rental for over two weeks) and it was $12 per day from Thrifty. A few weeks ago, the same 3 dyas was $12 from Dollar. They discount until the inventory is gone and then it seems another company discounts until their invetory is gone.

I ended up with Alamo for 17 days for $242 all taxes included...compact and will try to upgrade at checkin (with coupon)

I did have a free day coupon that I received in the mail by signing up for the *********** service. This is a rental for next week.

Tip, always, always, recheck your rental car rates 1-2 weeks before you leave. Changes are that you'll get a better rate! Good luck!

i've been checking rates every day about 3 times per day and so far have saved $94 off the first rate i got!! it definitely pays to do your research and follow through with checking prices!!

My original was over $300 ... I got it down to $119 compact.. for 9 days

What I keep seeing, and this is my 3rd rental.. is the rates drop 2-1 week from your dates, then they go way back up as you get too close.

I had a free day in last Oct and paid $22 for 3 day wkend
