We just booked a Toyota RAV4 from Alamo and my question is when you are assigned a row to pick your vehicle from, what other vehicles may be available?
As I know in the past when we go to pick up our car from Alamo at MCO they have a wide range of vehicle (makes) to choose from.

Uh, actually, you reserved a Toyota <OR> "something like a Toyota."

While you MAY find one, you will probably also find a variety of Jeeps, Ford Escape, KIA, Nissan, any of the none primo sort of vehicles <meaning, most likely no BMWs:()

There should be some sort of Alamo at MCO fleet selection thread. Might try a search on the forum search form.

Actually, seems to me, I read somewhere on here, that MCO does not usually ever have the RAV4...I may be in error, though.

Thanks, your comments are why I ask the question as last time we reserved a Corolla or like and their was only 1 Corolla in the line-up :scratchin

Yeah, kind of disheartening. You, of course can look at Alamo's official fleet page, but as you say, just because Alamo owns a few of them, that does not mean any of them are normally at the location you want to rent from on that particular week.

I am actually hoping for the opposite of what Alamo lists for my class (Chevy Impala or similar) so this is good news maybe?

I'll be there in a few weeks, and will snap a few pics of my aisle and whatever else I see on the way (small SUV maybe?).

I have had a Dodge Nitro, Kia, hyundais, and a Nissan Murano (nice!), All sorts of vehicles from Alamo. (I get the mid SUV fairly often).

I LOVE picking my own car from Alamo and National.

Great idea to post photos of the different vehicles in the aisles :thumbsup2

If you booked a full size you will select from the full size row, MCO has tons of full size cars (they also put standard class in that row), you may find a Malibu or an Altima in the full size row.

I have had a few Altimas from Enterprise, they are nice, efficient cars with the only issue being over-the-shoulder visibility when changing lanes. Never driven a newer Malibu.

Nothing against the Impala, it's just what my in-laws have driven for the last decade or so. They picked up a new 2014 model recently, quite a difference from their 2012 model. It's nice, but way too big for my DDs and I and the tight parking at the condo.

Thanks for always being helpful gmeh1.

I'd love to hear what was in the full size aisle and the smaller SUV aisle :) Trying to decide between three classes for a trip in May, those plus the premium. We need a lot of luggage room, so I'm inclined to keep the SUV and dump the other two, but would prefer to keep the lowest price (the full size car). I'm sure DH won't mind running alongside if the passenger seat is full of baby gear!
