Alamo site issues?

I am having some issues with the Alamo site -is it just me? I had 2-3 diff. reservations booked,and last week I went in to clear away all but the one I wanted to keep, I currently have 2 still,as the system won;t allow me to change anything on that last one I need to cancel,and also when trying to book for another trip,etc, when I get to the 'bookit' page, it just says that the price has been changed,and needs new input. I've tried clearing cookies and history,gone incognito, it just won't work for me! any advice?

ok....well today I tried again,and it allowed me to cancel the one res. I had that I didn't want,so that's good....when I looked at the other,the res. I want to keep, it said I 'could not modify online'- anyone know what this means? just curious....
also when I tried to make a res. for DH on another date, it allowed me to do it, but it doubled since yesterday.... oh well.....maybe that was the glitch?

I just posted a similar question. Yesterday and today I keep getting "Pricing inputs are different from previous calls, rerate is required." when I try to book. Maybe its not me like I had thought. Hmmm?

In general, the Alamo site is a mess and has been ever since they've changed it. On my last trip, the rate even changed when I checked in a day or two before pickup. Fortunately I had a paper copy of the original confirmation and they honored it.

Alamo worked hard going from the worst car rental agency (remember that giant offsite place with the hour+ lines) to perhaps the best. This new website could perhaps ruin that....

We were devout Alamo renters....since the change to their website, nothing but issues and difficulties. I NEVER had a problem and used to sing their praises on the boards constantly. Not any more. I also experienced one of those price changes in our last ressie for May. I could not believe it. I had to take the time to go to the counter and it was a time waster and hassle. I also had the paper reservation printed but they gave me a bit of a hassle. We have since rented thru Hotwire since their prices can be cheaper than Alamo direct. If we can figure out we will get a car from the Agency we desire (not an unknown Agency) that is for us now. We rented 5-6 times per year with Alamo.....so sad they are not consumer friendly like they used to be. Hopefully they will change their website. My upcoming trip at the end of this month....I am taking the trusty...DME...saving 300 bucks which is insane with codes and coupons.
