Alamo res change?

If the prices go down does Alamo automatically adjust or do you have to keep changing your res.? Can you add codes after the initial res has been made or a complete re-do?

I always make a brand new reservation and then cancel my old one....just in case there is some glitch with the new reservation.

Agree with above poster...first, No, they do not adjust your reservation price down, we always cancel and rebook.

I usually modify the one I have -- and I use the kiosk (for MCO anyway). Has always worked. When you miodify online, it shows you the old, the new, and asks if you want to modify.

But it probably is safest to rebook new and cancel old. I never have credit card hold, so modifying just seems easier to me and fairly risk free.

I just re-booked my car for April vacation. I created a new reservation and then canceled the old one. I saved $76 Now I might use that money for ECBI- can't decide.

I keep watching and even with codes I can't seem to get below 500. I will keep looking, but I do have a back-up. March 30 - April 11. I appreciate all the help and replies that I get on this board.
