Alamo rates are down for early Nov.

Okay I am sorry, but I am kind of slow with all of this. Do you need to be a Costco member? Where are you renting the car from(airport, or disney location) How do I enter the codes? We are going Nov 1 thru Nov 9 and would love a great cheap deal. Can anyone help please

I have a reservation 10/29-11/2 and I've tried using the Alamo links for their "Hot Deals" specials, which say they are good through 11/2....I cannot seem to use ANY coupon. I tried changing the return date to 11/1...still the same error message. I've tried Alamo's own coupons, Costco coupons and my "Enjoy the City" book Alamo coupons...same message on all. I would buy an Entertainment Book tomorrow if I knew that the discount coupons there would work. If anyone has a moment and can try their Ent Book discount/coupons and tell me if they get a rate better than $189 for a full size or better (premium, standard SUV, crossover), please let me know!!

Rental car prices have dropped alot for November on both Alamo and National, however, that coupon will not work for October, but will for November. It's crazy. We arrive on Oct. 31 and the rates are high, but if we pick up on Nov. 1 the rates are great. We are thinking of changing our pickup time just because the rates are lower the next day and the coupons are accepted. While we come in on Oct. 31, my SIL comes in on Nov. 1, so this is doeable. Crazy!!

I am getting a "Your coupon cannot be applied to this reservation" error message.

I have received that message for a couple of months now (for p/u on 10/30). I am thinking that the reason may be saturation of the coupons over the Halloween weekend.

Our dates are 10/30 - 11/8 and the rate was out of control for pick up in October, so my DH is taking ME back to MCO early Monday 11/1 to p/u the car. By doing that we saved over $120. We don't get in until late on the 30th so we are really without a car only 1 day & for that much savings, we can live with the little hassle.

Using I.D. 7013904 & coupon AD2123JMC and checking multiple times a day (and re-booking 4x) I was able to get our mid-size car down from $223.40 to $119.81 (8 days) !!!

I checked this morning and could get a full size for same price as standard, so I modified my reservation. I just checked again, and saved another $ 18 on top of the $ 43 from last week.

I used the Visa code and Visa $ 30 coupon.

Where can I find the Visa codes???

I googled Visa Alamo Coupon and it gets you to Visa's website.
There's a discount and a coupon. I printed out the coupon in case I needed it.

It says 20% but really gives you 10%.
