Alamo or National

Need to rent a minivan for upcoming trip to WDW. I am both an Emerald Club and Alamo Insider member. Prices are the same for Alamo and National. Only rent 2 or 3 times per year, so not enough to ever qualify for National Executive or free rental. Any suggestions which company to choose (I know they are related companies)? Are the minivans at either company the same? Thanks!

As you said, these are basically the same company. In the past we have rented minivans from Alamo and when they had none in the row we were told to walk to the National minivan isle and take one. They are basically the same type of cars. We had been able in the past to get a Toyota van that seats 8 from Alamo - used to be a separate rental classification. Not sure it they have them any more.
