Alamo online check in

I'm using the Walmart code and Alamos $20 off e coupon (or whatever you call it when the coupon is online). Can I do online rental since I have no real coupon? If so, how do I actually get the car - just pick one out and go to the exit booth?

I don't think you can use it with a code (walmart) or the ecoupon either. Sorry!

I used a Walmart code and a coupon from BJ Wholesale and when they sent the confirmation to my email it had the kiosk and on-line check-in listed in the email. I clicked on the on-line portion and it led me to the page to fill in all the required information. If you are able to use it it should be in the confirmation email. I am going to put in the information when we get closer and then use the kiosk when we get to the airport. Reading other threads on here, if you aren't able to use either it won't be listed in the confirmation. That is how you know the code is suspicious. I found the print out for the Walmart code and if you are a Walmart customer you can use it.

We have a rate booked right now with the WalMart code and no coupon, it will allow online checkin. However we have other reservations using the same code but with a coupon attached and it will only allow us to use SaveTime. You must use the kiosk or counter if you have a coupon and there is no link on your reservation for online checkin.

If I can use it, what is the procedure? Do you just go to the garage and pick you car out?

Never mind, I checked my reservation and it doesn't have anything about online check in - just the kiosk

Don't be sad. The kiosk is easy. It's a touch screen you just enter your conf # and follow each step. You can add/decline insurance, upgrade care, etc. At the end it prints out a receipt that you take with you to the garage right across the street.
Just pick out a car from your section then at the exit booth give the clerk your kiosk receipt, the hangtag from your rearview mirror, your dl & cc. They confirm everything and you're off.

btw, the kiosk is a little longer than a typical ATM transaction IF before you leave home, link to 'Save Time' and enter your info. If you don't, you can still use the kiosk but it takes longer.

Thanks - I did do the save time, but have to go in again and add my DHs information. We are trying to surprise my brother's family at the MK, so I'm trying to save as much time as possible.
