Have a question that i need some help with. I have 2 reservations, 1 with Alamo for full size and one with National for an intermediate size car (emerald aisle) at MCO. I'm hoping to score a SUV or minivan on these aisles. Is it possible to view the cars on the aisle first to see what's available and then check in? That way I'll know which reservation to choose. Thanks for the advice in advance!!!

Iffy.

It's not really reasonable to hold two separate reservations, either with different companies or the same company. It creates false inventory information and potential lost business when the rental agency has to refuse a reservation thinking all their vehicles are booked). Duplicate reservations are one cause of highr rental rates.

You could go out to the garage, but there's no guarantee the Alamo vehicle would still be there when you came back from the counter. Emerald Aisle membership, of course, lets you skip the counter.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a larger car on the Aisle at MCO. There is a thread that tracks availability, but most of the time I am there, it's sedans as far as the eye can see.
