Anyone used Alamo recerntly at Orlando Int ?

If so how long was the queue ?

After being stuck in the Dollar queue for 1.5 hrs last time I want to avoid that if possible...

might be worth you joining dollar express, this gives you priority over the other dollar customers and you get your car pretty quickly! there is a separate line for dollar express right next to the usual line. this is free, and we joined because of having to wait well over an hour for our car.

it depends....i've been in a short alamo line and a long alamo line...
depends how many airplanes dump people out at the time we arrive...
when the alamo line is very long, sometimes national takes the overflow..

however, one thing to note...alamo has self-service kiosks....if you have your reservation and you're not going to change anything, you can just walk right up to the self service kiosk....there never seems to be a line for them...

Once plane lands and we clear customs the two drivers in our party head straight for car hire and once this is done come back up to the others in reclaim hall... cuts some waiting time down and since we have been doing this we have only faced very small queues but after meeting the others and comeing down with bags the queues are horendus...

Doesn't work anymore unfortunately. We arrived Easter Saturday, everyone we saw except one family took their luggage up the new escalator and bypassed 2nd bagdrop straight to car rental desks, or can you get out of the 1st luggage collection and leave family?

Been using Dollar Express for almost 2 years now, saved me hours of queing, most I have ever had is 1 person in front of me. Even though I have had fantastic service from Dollar over the years I am considering Budget this August, they offer one way rentals to the port and way cheaper than Dollar thru USrentacar with free upgrade
