A while back I remember reading that Alamo does not carry standard sized cars at MCO, therefore if you book a standard, you will automatically be upgraded to a fullsize. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Yes, they do carry standard size cars, however, they do not have a row for standards, so, you will select from the full size row. They mix the standards and full size in the same row.

Nope, not correct. They do carry standard size cars, however, they do not have a row for standards, so, you will select from the full size row. They mix the standards and full size in the same row.

Geez - my initial posting went in depth about how that was only slightly correct; that there are standard cars, but only a full size row to choose from and you could end up with a standard, blah, blah. THEN, I researched here to make sure I was correct and found that other thread and corrected myself quickly enough so I wouldn't look stupid. :goodvibes See my edit.

Next time, I'm sticking with my first response. :thumbsup2

LOL, you don't look stupid. You would be amazed at how many people think there are no standard cars at MCO/Alamo/National.
A really easy way to tell if it is a standard or full size is to look at the UPC code in the window. If memory serves, there are a bunch of numbers in the bottom right hand side of the label. There is a letter in front of those numbers. S=standard F=Full size. E=economy, C=Compact, I=midsize, L=Luxury, P=Premium, MVAR= mini van.
