Anyone stayed at the Alamo Inn? If so how was it and how far is the walk to the park entrance?

To be fair I have never stayed there but it has the reputation of being one of the worst hotels in Anaheim. I don't know if it has improved but a couple of years ago it literally fell apart on some poor woman. http://www.ocregister.com/articles/woman-645480-anaheim-injured.html
