Just wanted to let all know to check their receipt carefully after they turn in their cars at the airport. Total charges for our rental were $41.01 more than the confirmation. I called Alamo when we got home (didn't have time to argue at the airport). Receipt at airport did not reflect the $35 coupon. If this happens to you, call. Be persistent!

When I rented at the CCC last month the agent at the counter said what the total amount was before I even took the keys. She quoted the full price without my coupon which was shown on my confirmation. I had a printed copy showing the lower amount and she then tried to tell me the coupon had expired which was why the total was higher. I politely asked her to honour the amount on my confirmation. She left the counter to speak with a manager. When she came back she said the manager ok'd it but then took the attitude that they were doing me a favour.

I know for a fact that the coupon was not expired. Don't know what the real deal was on that whole thing.
