Alamo Code IG

Has anyone used the corporate code IG for Alamo? Mousesavers website says that if you choose last minute rentals on the Alamo website it inserts corporate code IG. No last minute deals are actually listed for my dates/locations but if I put the IG code in the corporate code box I get a great rate. Will it be honored? Thank you!

You will not have any problems using the last minute code. Alamo often update rates before they update the website. The last minute special rates seem to be added early Tuesday morning, most likely you will see your special rate listed on the site in about an hour or two.

It looks like Alamo and National both have last minute specials at MCO and Sanford this week.

I just went in with my dates and put IG and then tried 299851 and I got it cheaper with the 2nd code...I have used this a milion times before.

I know I originally got it from a website by accident when I went onto get a price....I totally forget which one, but I have been using it since Feb 2010 and it was always good....sorry I cant help anymore than that...I gave a few friends it and they used it too...all in Florida and I THINK that has something to do with it...using in Florida

The last minute specials were on the website when I got home today so now I feel better about using the IG code.

Yes, if you can get a last minute fare with the code, then take it. Often the website is not updated and the code will work, and then the website will catch up. Both Alamo and National have some great last minute fares for the next couple of weeks and the coupons are working for both websites for June too. I hope when mid-August rolls around, we'll get some great offers too. Right now I'm still sitting on my Budget minivan rental, but there are some great minivan rentals on both Alamo and National for anyone leaving in the next 2 weeks.
