Alamo car rental rate question

i've been booking/canceling/rebooking a reservation with Alamo to get better rates. I was wondering, with the rates changing every day, going up, going down, when I go to pay for the reservation, will i get the rate that i booked for or will i have to pay the rate that is listed for that day? does anyone know? if i can get the cheaper rate that i have reserved for now, i'll do the online check in now just so i can avoid having the chance of it going up sometime before our actual trip..

The rate on your printed confirmation is guaranteed so bring it with you.

If you keep booking and rebooking, you gotta make sure to cancel your unwanted reservations or when you show up, they might pull it up in the system and you might not notice the higher rate at that time.

If you are using codes and coupons, there is always a chance that they will ask you to prove that you are a member of whatever discount (Sams Club etc?) and if it is a printable coupon, you need to present it at the counter because they won't always ask you for it and if you forget, they probably won't accept it after-the-fact when you return the car.

Okay, yes i have been canceling the prior reservations so i don't have 10 different reservations when i get there. i have my coupons printed and am all ready. now all i have to do is wait for the 15th to get here and we'll be on our way!
