Alamo car rental discount coupons/child car seats???

Anyone have a discount code for alamo car rental? So far they seem to have the best base price for a weekly rental but i don't have a coupon code to try to bring it lower.

Also, how is it traveling with a car seat onthe plane? I would save $50 by using my own car seat but honestly don't feel like carrying the Britax Marathon through the airport as that thing weighs a ton!

You might try experimenting, too. Mix and match the discount code with the coupon listed above. See if you find a combination that works and gets you a good rate. Only you know if it is worth your time to try.

Try carrentals.com. I got a great rate using the rate they gave for Walmart.

We also have the Britax marathon - I bought a carseat bag (Eddie Bauer - we paid around $20 at babiesrus) and just checked it with the rest of the luggage. This worked out really well for us, especially since I feel like our ds is used to his "cushy" car seat.
