Hi All
I have just received my car hire voucher through Holiday Autos. We have a 4dr compact all inclusive package with Alamo, however at the bottom of the voucher it has:
Not incluced in prepaid Rental Charge: deposit, petrol.
Now I understand about the petrol but the deposit had us stumped. So we have just rang holiday autos and they say that it is a $100 per week charged to our cc incase any damage happens to the car, or we fail to return it. Our reply was are we not covered through the insurance that we have already paid? They repllied;"No, if anything happens to the car ie damage they will take that $200 and I can claim it back from holiday autos less the excess when I return".
In all the tiimes we have hired a car in FL we have never heard of this, has anybody else?
I am not very happy at the moment
