Alamo Car Hire Please help

Have just hired a car through Alamo with Brits discount which is great. Have booked 2 child car seats....on their rental policies it states all theier car seats are Britax etc etc and suitable from 9 months onwards....but having booked it now states on confirmation "child seats aged 2 - 5" which is an issue because my youngest will only be 10 months old.

I have e mailed Alamo stateside...all returned undelivered...some issues with their servers....I have e mailed their UK site...no ack or answers and I have phoned them in International...they were basically uninterested & unhelpful - the woman I spoke with said SHE didn't have kids so !!!!

Before I cancel and start over with someone else can anyone help?...Have you encountered same?

What are their car seats like?

What happens before 2 & after 5 ?

depending on how long you are going for, consider taking your own, its cheaper.
we had a very sly solution last year, me and the two little ones to the ME to hotel, dh and eldest picked up the car and went straight to walmart and bought 2 booster seats. saved us a fortune!

We always take our own this means you know how it fits in and how to secure your lo and best of all it saves you fortune !! At 10 months old he will still be in the carry seats which on our last trip virgin were taking off people at the gate x
