Booked a Standard size car to pick up at the Car Care Center. Confirmation Email says they have a kiosk, is it a pick from your row set up like MCO, or will it direct me to a specific car?

MCO replaces Standard with a full size, what about the CCC, anyone know?

The CCC is not an Emerald Aisle location, they will assign a car. I've had mixed luck at non-EA locations, sometimes only get an intermediate, sometimes full size (when booking intermediate).

EA is a program offered by National not Alamo. At MCO the National and Alamo rental car companies share the same fleet. Alamo at MCO permits renters to pick any car they desire from the car class aisle they have reserved. I don't think that has anything to do with if National has an EA at the same location.

I am curious too about the Car Care Center...do you pick your own car? (Not MCO). TIA!

But I think their setup is the same, they are the same company. When there's not an EA, they assign cars. Mostly because non-EA locations are smaller, they don't have a big inventory.

We always rent from Alamo at the Car Care Center and you can pretty much choose which car you want within the class you rented - they will tell you what's available, you make your choice, they'll hand you the keys and off you go. We've gone thru the Kiosk when there's a long line but have also used the counter & actually prefer the counter service when it is slow. This coming October we're actually getting our car at the Alamo center @ the Dolphin only because it was $10 cheaper for some reason and since we're staying at the Beach Club, we can just walk over & pick up our car instead of getting the pick-up service (which BTW is awesome thru Alamo and we've never had a problem).

Thanks for the info so far, any idea if they have Standard cars there?

If you try to book a standard car, the system will tell you if it is available.
Standards are a Ford Fusion or similar. If they don't have a "standard" car they will put you in a full size which could be an Impala or similar.
If you are looking for a "standard shift" car, be aware, they don't have them, all cars are auto transmission and most of our fleet has 4 doors.....there are exceptions, but, not many.
