Alamo- Can someone explain

Can someone explain the difference between being a *********** member and an Alamo.com member?

I am a member of Dollar Express and National, but can't quite understand what the difference is for Alamo....

This signup would be for a family vacation and I already have a car through Alamo reserved but want to make the process easier on the day of car pick up and drop off at MCO.

I am a Quicks*lver member
Basically I go straight to the garage hand them my confirmation with license and CC and then go pick a car from what I have reserved. I have done this on my last 3 trips and its never taken more than 10 min
Last time they had no compacts so they told me to take whatever I wanted in the next class up.

You don't even have to be a Quic**ilver member do bypass the counter. Book online using your discount ID# code and then when it says to save time you can check in on line..give your DL # etc. and then when you get off your flight just go pick out your car class at the ALamo garage, go to the booth and your done. Only thing is you can not use a coupon. To me..it's worth it not use the coupon. When we got off our plane and saw the GINORMIC line for Alamo I was glad I didn't use it..it would have been AT LEAST an hour or more.

We used a great coupon this last time (Bj's 25% off plus Alamo's $40 off). I saw the gigantic line at Alamo and my heart sank. On Alamo's website, you can't "bypass the counter" if you have a coupon, but you can put in all your information (name, address, credit card, driver's licence number) in the "save time" section. I didn't think I could use the kiosk because of the coupon, but thought I may as well give it a try. I went over to the kiosk and in a matter of moments printed out my slip to give to the Alamo people in the garage. OH, BOY was I excited! It usually takes an huge amount of time when there is no one in line, let alone about 45 people!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Alamo Kiosk!
