Can you do online check-in for your car rental at Alamo and avoid the lines on the day you arrive?

As long as you didn't use any discount codes when making your reservation you can use online checkin.
If you did you can still avoid the counter by using the kiosks, it's very simple and takes only minutes.

I used a code for Delta Airlines,... does that mean I can't avoid the counter?

You can use a discount code and still check-in online - we did it our last rental. You can't check-in online if you use a coupon. You would then have to go to the desk or the kiosk. You will be able to do "save time at check-in" online with a coupon which will let you put in some of the information needed for your rental but you will still need to go to the counter or kiosk. Our current rental for Aug. is using a discount code and the email we got confirming our reservation has the check-in online on it - we just didn't use a coupon.

If you use a coupon you can use the kiosk. It is so simple and easy to use. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
