Alamo and AE discount???? HELP!!

I have recently been sent a PM from a fellow diser that gave me a discount associated with AE (7013604) and with combining it with the e-coupon I can get my rental car down to $75. for my dates of my upcoming trip leaving on next Sunday. The BIG question that I have is?????? Has anyone ever rented a car using AE discount rate WITHOUT actually having or using an AE card for their reservation? I will be using the kiosk because of being a QS member and I have rented from Alamo several times before in the past.

Did you try using AD3829MRB ($25 off e-coupon) and 430710 (WalMart Code that gives a free driver with a discount).

I have an 8 day rental from 12/8-12/16 for a full size for $109 with these codes. I think the midsize is about $25 less than that for the same time period. HTH

I have done this several times,for me and my SIL. I have a Amex card he doesn't. Never been asked .

Lately those codes haven't saved much. The best one used to be a 3 day weekend and you get one day free. I haven't seen that one in a while.
