Aladdin

I was looking at the park schedule for September and notice after Sept. 6th Aladdin is not listed. Does this mean Aladdin is closed or will it not be playing? I'm worried we won't see it now. Thank you in advance.

Right now who knows really. My hunch is that they are waiting to set any schedule for Aladdin as I was under the impression the area around the theatre would be under construction soon and the show would have to be scheduled out around that. It wouldn't make sense for them to extend it past August 15 if they only planned on shutting it down a week or so later than originally intended, but hey - it's Disney! I think a lot of things regarding what's going on during the fall is still being decided.

But that's just my guess.

Aladdin is extended until next year at least. That Aladdin and WOC would both go down after Labor Day (not even counting TSMM which looks to be for sure going down) is just not very believeable. There is something else going on we do not know about yet. I would not get too worried yet.

You know, Al Lutz posted this little teaser on Miceage...something about the surprising hours TDA was considering for fall. I have no idea what that might mean, but maybe it explains the lack of scheduling for Aladdin (and WOC, and fireworks).

I agree- there must be *something* going on.

Hijacking this thread - I saw Al's teaser about fall hours too, and assumed it would be explained in today's Dateline Disneyland, but nothing's there. Was there news about it somewhere else over the weekend that I missed?

Nope, no one knows around here. There are rumors about WOC not showing after Labor Day which sounds absurd. Something is cooking for Sept at DLR and we do not know yet what it is...
