Is this show really loud inside? Our baby will be 9 months old when we go and im a little worried about it scaring her.

I don't consider it to be very loud, no louder then a normal play. I did find its louder on the bottom floor then it was in the balcony so if you are concerned you might consider asking to sit up there.

I second that. We were sitting Mezzanine and it didn't seem very loud to me and I can imagine that it would be louder if you were seated in the Orchestra section.

this is good to know :) we have Aladdin on our must do with DGD 9 months also. We have PS thru WDTC but I have read all seats are good seats in the theatre. So I was thinking we should sit away from the noise too, and skip the PS. :wizard:

"Pelton" ear protectors. Anyone with children sensitive to sound should consider these -- I wish I was a U.S. distributor I love them so much. I'm trying to remember how old we started the kids with these -- around a year old I think. They can be found in Canada now but we got our from England. It may not work for a 9 month old - sad to say I can hardly remember mine being that little.

They do have them for infants and they have on one site pictures of a baby with little ear muffs at a sporting event. At disAbilites the moms do find that the muffs help hypersensitive kids have a good time in public without the overwhelming cacophony around them.

We sat in the very front and found it to be very loud. It was rather overwhelming for my then 3.5 year old, and he spent about 15 minutes (until he got interested in the show) under a blanket on my lap, with his lightsaber *keychain* on for light (for him...I verified it couldn't be seen through the blanket). Once he got into it he was fine, but since a 9 month old won't likely get into it like that, it might just be loud.

So since others are saying "don't sit in front", don't sit in front. And know that you can leave if it's too much, so try to sit on the end. Also know that there are no bathrooms in the building. :headache:

The first time we went I had to take my two-year-old out. It was too much for him.

Iwould sit towards the back. The ear protectors are a great idea.

If you sit on the first floor be aware that on the left side (facing the stage ) a very large snake (Jafar) towers over you. Can be scary. :scared1:

Geez. Thanks for the snake tip off. Go right, go right, go right (just trying to embed this in my mind.)

There is a point in the show when all the main characters are on the stage and Jafar starts threatening everyone...

Usually there is at least one baby wailing and wailing (its Disney, not Broadway)

At which point, Alladin turns to Jafar and says "AND YOU EVEN MADE THAT BABY CRY!"

Usually stops the show for a bit.

Anyway, maybe sit near an exit so you can make a quick one in case the baby is inconsolable. Others would like to hear the show too.
