Aladdin/Blast at DCA

I just read that Blast is closing Sept 2 and Aladdin doesn't open until December 9th????
Does anyone know what they will be doing at the Hyperion Theatre in between?
I'm really bummed. I've seen Blast and it's awesome and I'm sure Aladdin would be fun, but I'm going Dec. 6-8 so I won't get to see anything?

I would imagine that they will be getting the theatre ready for the new show.

Could be soft-opens on the show, depending on how rehersals and preparations progress. Watch for announcements when you get there. Certainly they would perform before a crowd before the official opening.

I would COUNT on soft openings of the show for your dates, sramille, since you are there right before the official opening.

Thanks for the encouraging opinions! You other Disney fans have to know what I mean when I say that it has crossed my mind to stay another day just to see the show.......not possible, but that's how my mind works!
