Alabama and other Southeastern States discount??

Just found this on Mousesavers. It says they are offering a good discount on rooms up till Dec. 23 for AP holders in the SE states of Alabama, Georgia, S and N carolina....anyone booked this??

Wonder what the odds are of this type of discount being offered for January 1 on???? That is when we want to return (we are at WDW right now and are going to upgrade to AP on Sunday before we come home) and would like to book the trip now. Anyone advice or comments?

I called yesterday to book a stay and use the SE States discount code.

I found it interesting that the CM I spoke with knew nothing about that code and I had to read what I saw on Mousesavers to him.

Once he heard that, he put me on hold and checked it out. But there wasn't any resorts available during my first choice of days.
I'm now trying to figure out an alternate date so I can book with the discount since I would just be doing a quick weekend trip.

I don't know if there would be anything like this for January 1 on because even Mousesavers said it was unusual.

9/25 update - I figured out an alternate date and was able to use the code for the weekend rate of 84.00.

I live in Georgia and just got the rate for one night - although it's $84 for weekend nights and $54 for weekdays.

Why for AL and not Mississippi? SO not fair!
