AKV-What will be open in Oct? What are diff in studios?

We may take a quick trip to wdw beginning of oct. WE are trying first to decide for sure if we are going, then where to stay.

We were thinking beach club if they have any room, but then looking at the charts i was thinking maybe AKV.

It would be just 2 of us for only 4 nights, wed-sun so we would only need a studio.

what are all the differences in the studio since i see 4 types listed, and is any better than the other? or should we just stay someplace else??

for bcv, bwv, vwl its looks to be 70 points, ssr 64 and akv are 50-v, 60-s, 72-sv, and 84-concierge.

I'm quite sure there is very limited availability for ANY rooms at AKV this October, much less a specific type of studio. Don't plan on BCV having anything either, since it's F&W, and that is a very popular location for those activities. My guess is that you might only find available rooms at SSR and OKW at this point for that time period, and studios might be an issue already.

You're definitely right Grammy. I booked my first DVC reservation on last Saturday for a long weekend in October (11-15) and the only thing that I could get was SSR. Even there, I am on the waiting list for a 2 bedroom. Originally, I had tried for the previous weekend (Columbus Day) and MS couldn't find anything without me having to change resorts.

On the positive, I only looked at long weekends, so there may be better availability during the week.
