AKV value studio- where are they?!

Can anyone tell me where these rooms are located so I can put in a request? I saw an awesome thread posted recently but if focused on value 1 BR. Thanks!!

All of the Values are along the Giraffe & Ostrich Trails in Jambo House.

We had villas 5110 and 5112, which is a value studio and 1 bedroom - we booked as a 2 bedroom lock-off. It was super close to the elevators and had a view of the savannah. It was a great location.

I may be wrong but I do not believe they honor requests for the value rooms at AKV.

That's correct, there are so few value rooms that they don't accept requests. It's about a 40/40/20 split between savanna/pool/parking lot view.

Really, the parking lot view is not even bad. It is more of trees and gardens. I've had the view twice, out of probably 15 value stays.

OP, you can NOT put in a request for a value studio as the PP mentioned. You get what you get at check-in.

I thought the parking lot view was quieter than the pool view (which consisted of looking at trees) too. The afternoon pool party just gets louder and louder.

MS told me that you can't make VIEW requests, but she did take my request for a specific room# "or room near it". I was so excited until I got there. The room they gave me was as far away as possible.

DVC is designed to be 95-98% capacity. AKV Value and CL you can assume run at 100% full time. So requesting a specific room number is going to be difficult, because everything has to align for it to be available.
