AKV tapestry

Has anybody heard anything further about when these will arrive? I found my mailing when DVC requested the names we wanted to appear, and that letter said we would receive them in the spring.

Anybody have any information about these?

no news here either - we had to make a modification when they sent our name listing - it said 'make changes and we'll send you a new version within a couple of weeks' - that was 6 months ago

DVC are being very evasive about this. It is being organised by that subcontractor - the administration outsourcing company (was it Innotrac? Something like that...) in Georgia. I think the DVC employees don't want to get involved because this thing has become very muddy and nobody wants to be the one to get the mud stuck to themselves when somebody has to admit that it isn't being organised properly... maybe somebody knows that there's a problem with the tapestry but nobody wants to 'own' the problem.

I can't think of a solution to the interminable wait other than a whole bunch of affected members simultaneously contacting somebody at DVC to insist that an update be given.

Personally... I've given up on the tapestry. I'm not expecting anything to happen. This is a way to protect myself from disappointment, I suppose...

They need to either get on top of it and let us know that it's under control - or bite the bullet, admit it's not working out, and offer us all a goodwill gesture by way of compensation - disney dining coupon or something.

My guide did call me back, and she stated that the new arrival date was for late summer. Guess we're still waiting.

It was a new con when we purchased. Fell for AKV, the extra bathroom in Kidani, concierge option, the fact that wife wanted to stay there. Fell for that.
