AKV - studio

My family rented points for a studio last fall for our upcoming stay in February. I'm starting to get things together and am curious what all supplies a studio is equipped with. I know we have towel and trash service on the 4th day, but I'm curious about kitchen supplies. Is there dish soap, dish towel, glasses, etc. in the studio?

The AKV studios come with paper plates and bowls and plastic utensils. There are also glass water glasses, an ice bucket and a can opener. Other than that, it's just the "appliances"...coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. I had brought dish soap and a sponge because I'd assumed they weren't provided, but they were there when I got there. I don't know if a previous occupant had left them behind or if they are supposed to be provided.

I brought along some melamine plates, bowls and utensils that I'd bought at the dollar store. They microwave things much better than the paper stuff. I don't know how often the paper supplies are replenished, other than on your trash and towel day. It was much easier for us to use the "real" dishes.

The dish soap and sponge are provided in studios. There is also a toaster, and sometimes a corkscrew (if you need it, housekeeping will bring it, if it's missing.) Housekeeping will also replenish the paper and plastic supplies as needed.

I like to bring some some inexpensive plastic containers for leftovers, ziplocks, and some microwaveable bowls as PP said.

Thank you all for the information. I appreciate it. Glad to know about the corkscrew too as that was an item on my grocery store purchase list! Nice to know housekeeping can loan us one.

Oops! Yup, I forgot about the toaster! I even used it almost every day!
