AKV reservation question

We are thinking about renting points for AKV. After reading some info I am confused about booking. I read that most rooms have the Savannah view and if you request the Standard View it is not guaranteed. How does this work if I am renting a SET amount of points? Being that their is a major difference between the two points wise.

Standard view is a guaranteed booking category with a fixed number of points. What may not be guaranteed is what you will actually see out the window. At Jambo it will be the pool as all Standard view face the pool. It may not be a great pool view and may be blocked by trees.

The Standard view at Kidani can face either the parking area, grounds/gardens or the pool.

Savanna is a different booking category and is also guaranteed and will face one of the Savanna's. What isn't guaranteed is which savanna it will face.

You really aren't renting a set amount of points. You are renting a reservation that a member makes with their points.

Yes, I didn't actually mean renting the points. I was just referring to the set reservation to a certain room type. Sorry about that.
