We're so excited for our 1st DVC trip! Lots of questions, so here goes:

1. What's the wattage on the hairdryers? Have unruly hair, so need somehting powerful.

2. Is there background noise in the rooms, like the sound of the airconditioner or a bathroom fan? Can't sleep without background noise, and last year our room in GF was so quiet, it prevented me from sleeping well. Need to block DH's snoring and airplugs only help so much.

3. How many days will the coffee and sugar supplies last? Is there dish soap?

4. What store sells coffee already in the filters, like you get in hotel rooms? Would like to bring this with us.

5. If our flight arrives at 2:30, what time should we ask Garden Grocer to deliver?

6. What's the quickest way to get to Contemporary Resort and the Boardwalk using Disney buses?

thanks so much!

1. Don't know.

2. You can hear some (not much) sound from air conditioning unit, otherwise quiet.

3. You get enough for two pots (one regular, one decaf).

4. We have found coffee in the pre-pack filters in the store at the resorts, and any grocery store in the Orlando area. At home, they are usually in any grocery store.

5. Even if you get to resort before 4 there is no certainty you will have room until 4. Unless you want it delivered and held by the hotel until you are in room, would suggest you have delivery at 5.

6. To Contemporary, you take bus to MK and then walk over (5 to 10 minute walk from bus station at MK). To Boardwalk, option is to take bus to Studios and walk (20 to 25 minutes) from there or take boat. Second option is to take bus to AK and then switch to bus to BW. Third option is to plan to do Epcot for a while and take bus to there and then when done with what you are doing at Epcot, exit at International Gateway and walk or take boat to BW.

My DW and myself are the same about having background noise to sleep, and the rooms at AK are pretty quiet. For this reason we always bring a small fan with us.

It is very quiet there at AKV so I would definetly bring something with you like the PP said. The hair dryers are not that powerful enough for me but I would suggest to bring yours.
Also you can get coffee like that at any grocery store, Maxwell house coffee is the one that i always see like that.
I am not sure about the buses we drive everywhere that we can.

have the groceries delivered early and they hold them for you, this happens with us all the time because the room is not ready, we get back later in the day and have them bring our groceries and owners locker right up.
