Does it matter if your points are deeded Jambo or Kidani?

Not one bit. I own two contracts at AKL, and it just so happens that one is at Kidani and one is at Jambo.

The only difference I can see is that, during use of the Search Engine for Booking, your home 'building' will be automatically checked, and then you will have to deliberately check the other one to search it. For instance, it when searching, it might Automatically search Jambo, but then you also need to click Kidani to search it, picking it out of the list where all the other DVC resorts are listed. OR, it might be Kidani that lists automatically and Jambo that you have to select.

Once you actually go to make the reservation, it doesn't matter at all which building your deed is in.
