AKV Kidani Village questions

Hi all,
We are looking into our July vacation and had some questions about Kadani which we are thinking of booking.
I was worried about construction activity in July. DO you think there will be lots of construction going on at this time or do you expect it to be completed by then?
Is it a long walk from the parking areas, bus stops to the rooms given the construction activity? We are travelling with 2 seniors (one is disabled) and 2kids. Do all 1 and 2 bedroom villas have an additional washroom? Is it true that some of the standard view rooms actually have a view of the savannah?

I wouldn't do it. Why take a chance that things won't be perfect.

I would rather wait until the Cast Members are trained and the problems that always occur at a new resort are worked out.

Since Kidani doesn't actually open until May, many of your questions and concerns can't really be addressed until someone has acually stayed there. If the extra bathroom is of greatest importance to you, then I would stay at Kidani, but if the proximaty to the bus stop and parking is of concern, I'd probably stay at Jambo where things are known.

Standard view rooms will NOT have a savanna view. That's what makes them standard view. At Jambo standard view rooms are pool view, and at Kidani they will be pool or parking lot views.

Oh, I forgot to mention about construction. I'm pretty sure there will be SOME construction still going on, but it is likely to be mostly on the far end of the resort. If you are concerned about that, ask to be far from the construction.

Yes, there will be construction, likely mostly internal on North wing of building.

Parking is unclear at this time. There is to be some parking under the building but unclear how much or whether that will be where they put valet parked cars. Main parking lot is quite a ways. Note, you can valet park as member for free (tip is extra).

Bus stop will likely be fairly near front entrance at Kidani. As with Jambo, it can be a short to very long walk to bus stop from room depending on where room is.

All Kidani 1BRs will have 2 bathrooms (all 2BRs will have three). None of the Kidani and none of the Jambo standard rooms faces a savanna. You may have heard of the smaller sized "value" point cost rooms (only at Jambo) about 40% of which face a savanna.
