Are all the studios near the lobby?

Not necessarily near, but last standards on either side are not that far away from the lobby either.

So would you suggest instead of requesting near the lobby maybe a high floor? My ideal room would be near the lobby and a high floor.

Are all the studios near the lobby?

If you were in the last Standard Studio at the far end of the south wing of Kidani, you would be about 1/4 mile from the lobby. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the end of the south wing to the lobby. If it is important to you to be near the lobby and on a high floor, I would request "near the lobby, high floor" or "high floor, near the lobby" depending upon which of the two is most important to you.

I agree w/Lisa S. We were on top floor overlooking pool and with 4 very tired kids at night, it was a hike to get back.
