We have had high and low floors in several different places at Kidani and none had any issue of trees blocking view. Many like lower floor mainly for more direct sight view of animals; we'll take low or high because we also like the more panoramic view you get with higher floor. The main request to make is Sunset savanna view (80% of savanna view rooms) because the much smaller Pembe savanna has no giraffes or zebras. We have had ideal viewing (and any of these are possible additonal requests): near the lobby, near the Rafiki elevator (north wing, some distance but not too far from lobby and provides quickest access to pool), near the Timon elevator (south wing with quick access to door that is closest to bus stop), and near the Zazu elevator (last elevator on south wing that leaves a long walk to lobby and pool but provides for shortest walk to Jambo). We also had a fine view near the end of the north wing beyond the Pumba elevator, last one on north wing, but do not recommend that area unless you really like to walk forever and ever to get to your room from the bus stop and lobby.
